The mainstream Amazon recommended reading fatigue is a thing. I'm reading the same ideas again and again, as if listening to emo rock bands where the only differentiating factor is the name. PKG felt like a category-defining book, which is rare in this day and age. Thank you for keeping it unapologetically geeky. It's precisely what made it bubble up.
Let me know if I can be of any help now or in the future.
Thanks a lot for the positive and curious review, very much appreciated! PKM is a huge and diverse field with a very vibrant and active community with people from all ways of life... Exciting times ahead, there's still so much to be discovered! Looking forward to the PKM summit in Utrecht in March!
This review was totally genuine. I've learned a lot about interesting projects and standards I never knew existed. Looking forward to the day SEN becomes publicly available. Building a semantic layer like this is a very tough nut to crack. I'll be following the evolution closely.
I wish I could attend the event, but I'm a tad too far in March. Are you planning to cover the event?
Yeah it took a lot of deep thinking and prototyping, but now I'm finally really to build this thing. Thanks for your continued interest, I'll post my progress on the project Substack.
I'll definitely do some write-up in a free post on SEN's Substack after the event. Hope to grab a spontaneous speaker slot, official ones were all gone sadly.
Dear Malik,
Many thanks for the honest review.
We know fully well that this book, and this topic at large, won't be everyone's cup of tea.
We tried to get something out that is as good as possible for the ones that are into it, and as approachable as possible for everyone else.
We are truly thankful to see that the effort is appreciated, at least by some people. If nothing else, this book has found its perfect reader :-)
Thank you, George.

Lovely. I'll hope you'll get the spot. It's true that competing for a spot with PKM titans currently on the rooster is not a minor undertaking.
